Good Heavens! When is this baby coming out? These are the thoughts that go through my head the last time I was getting my prenatal with my midwife. But on second thoughts, this little bundle of joy is still baking and it’s not quite ready to come out. I say “it” because I’m not going to find out what the sex of the baby is until I push “it” out. Some people and a lot of my friends think I’m crazy {especially my girlfriends who are throwing me that shower} but for me it’s something exciting about the feeling of not knowing. Crea was also a surprise. I guess my partner and I are just in for the spontaneous events.  I haven’t even thought of any names….eeeks! If you have any ideas let me know in the comments below.

This time around, I’m a little bit more in the know of what helps me get through the last 2 months. I’ve rounded up my April Favourites of the things I’m loving and have been using to prep for the babes and my well being.
Food:
Granola Smoothie Bowls are the death of me. For real, I crave those things like nobody’s business. Every morning, I stop by my local juice bar and get them. I love how the smoothie is so cooling and filling. Not to mention the berries on top. I always get them with extra granola.
Music:
Nothing in particular but I find myself listening to the Samantha James Station. Her sound is just so soothing, and relaxing. It helps me fall asleep at night. It also has me fantasising about traveling haha. Easy listening with a  little bit of rhythm.
Beauty:
I’ve been looking for a good concealer for a while now and the one that I absolutely loved from Rimmel got discontinued so I haven’t had any luck until I decided to try Elf Concealer. It glides really smooth on my skin and blends just perfectly. It definitely has good coverage especially for everyday use. I use it to cover my dark circles under my eyes.
Random:
I’ve been re-reading books on pregnancy lately and I’ve gotta say my favourite book of all time by far is Birthing from Within. It really touches on how to understand your body and how to get the body ready for birth. I’ve really learned a lot about myself from this book. It has a lot of tecqniques for breathing and labor.
Fashion:
The weather in Portland has been really nice but it still gets chilly during the night time. I’ve been wearing this Jean Jacket  non stop. See how I paired it with this dress HERE and HERE.
