The Shift Dress: Who Wore It First?

I love florals. Especially when I can find them for a deal! I found this Forever 21 dress at the thrift store by my house for only $4!!!

I love that I can pair this shift dress with anything. I can wear them with jeans, or simply by itself. Shift dresses were popularized by Lilly Pulitzer in the 1960’s when she  was working at a juice stand. Customers demanded to have them and when Jackie Kennedy was photographed wearing one, it just blew up!
