I love to purchase statement accessories especially when it comes to shoes. It challenges me to think outside of my comfort zone. I know that the snakeskin trend has had it’s time on the streets but I’m still really into it. I have been looking for the perfect ones and I finally found them! I was on the hunt for something that I had a neutral hue ( I don’t think I was ready to go cray) and that had similar tones to clothing I already had in my closet.

When you wear a print that’s already noticeable, you would want to either go big or tone it down and let the shoes shine. In this blog post, I have styled these Ecco snakeskin booties two ways. In the first outfit, I paired them with my fave skinny jeans at the moment, a staple white button up, and a cropped sweater. Perfect for a nice fall day. I wanted to stick to the same colors and to make sure that I had a pop, hence the white button up and I accessorized with dainty gold earrings from Ann Revere.

For the second look, I wanted to challenge myself and do a little experimenting. I wanted to mix textures and patterns and I really fell in love with this look! I experimented with mixing plaid and the snakeskin pattern. Again, I went with the same colors so that it didn’t look too much and it works! I finished it off with a simple hat (cause it was freezing lol) and some tights.  Which look would you go with?
