Happy August!
Oh my this summer is going by so fast, pretty soon my maternity leave will be over and I have to head back to work. I gotta say, I’m happy that Ace came out during this time, it’s been great weather her in Portland, and I can’t wait to bring him to the beach next weekend! First outing ever!! Okay, I’m totally being side tracked here. I have some great July favorites to share with you guys!
Food.
If you’ve followed my pregnancy blog posts, most of my cravings were on the sweet side and a lot of fruits. I’m always snacking so when
R.E.D.D Bar sent over some vegan, gluten free, energy bars in three different flavors to try, they instantly became my favorite snacks! They’re a company based in Portland, Maine (I know right) and honestly, I thought I wasn’t gonna like the bars because I’m not vegan (no hate, I promise), and I thought it was gonna be those nasty protein bars. But I tried the oatmeal flavor first, and I was hooked. Seriously, you should really try them!!
Beauty.
I don’t normally wear foundations but I’ve been hearing a lot of hype around the
L’oreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation so I had to try it. First of all, these things are hard to find. I must’ve went to a couple of stores before I found the right shade for me. First Impression: For someone who doesn’t wear foundation, the formula was totally light and a little product goes a long way. I must’ve just used the sponge and dipped it one time, and it covered my whole face! It doesn’t look too thick and it blends pretty well with my skin tone.
Fashion.
I wore a lot, and I mean a lot of dresses during the month of July. Maybe because that’s the only thing that would fit me and plus they were super comfy. But not just dresses, I was drawn to striped dresses. I’m not so sure why. But you can see my post on them

Music.
There was one song on Kanye West’s album
The Life of Pablo that I was listening to on repeat whenever I was driving (No, it’s not the famous song lol). It’s called the Ultralight beam. I love the hook, I love the beat, and it has this awesome kinda gospel vibe that I really liked.
Random.
Since, I’ve given birth to baby Ace, I’ve just been lounging around in Pajamas and my Robe. I love not getting ready unless I have to. But since, he is so young, I don’t feel like I have to go anywhere and trust me, I’m not in a rush too either. My favorite robe is from Pink Blush Maternity. It’s so soft, and super comfy. Easy for breastfeeding.
