This is it, I’m starting my third trimester in a couple of weeks. It’s the final push and I can’t help but feel a little sentimental and with mixed emotions. I finally started to jot down things I might need to prepare for before the second baby comes and it made me think about the powerful women in my life and how in the world did they do it.  My mother for instance is the strongest woman I know. I don’t think we (my brother and I) would be in a better life situation if she didn’t work so hard to get us to another country (I was born and raised in the Philippines) for a a better life and a better future. And who would have thought to teach me simple details such as how to bath your baby and how to wrap them up so they sleep better no other than her. I mean don’t get me wrong, all mothers have a little crazy in them and she is no exception but she knew me like no other. I’m just so glad that I have a great relationship with her now that I’m a mother myself. I can’t wait for her to meet her second grandchild and maybe she has new tricks up her sleeves this time!
