We’ve been having strange summers in Portland lately.

For once, we’re July is almost over, and we haven’t really had a true summer. I’m talking full on blue skies and some straight up sunshine. It’s been muggy, cloudy, but still warm. With me being 39 weeks and almost due, I’m always hot so I guess this is better. 

This summer, one of the biggest trends we’ve seen on everyone is the off the shoulder tops. I wasn’t so sure if I could pull it off so I’ve been on the fence about buying a piece. I have been on the hunt for an off the shoulder top that was a little bit darker than what I’ve been seeing. I mean my fave color is black after all so I’m glad I found that. I wanted to showcase the top with a casual look so I paired them with denim shorts and accessorized with a simple choker and a hat. This top is something I could still wear during pre fall and post pregnancy. Have you given in on the off the shoulder trend?
