Very Nice to meet you Glossier.
I’m for sure living in another universe because how the hell have I not used Glossier before? Someone tell me I’m seriously slippin’! This is what I’ve been needing in my busy, crazy, wonderful mom life! I actually found out about it going through someone’s instagram feed. You know when you “explore” and take a look at other people’s page, things that might interest you. Soon enough their photo got my attention and the next thing I know, I was looking obsessively at all things Glossier on YouTube for like two days then ordering the next. I wanted to order everything but you know, yo girl has to follow a budget so I opted for the things that I wanted to try first. Okay let’s get into my first impression. Let’s start with packaging.
First of all, I’m impressed with how fast the package got delivered. It took less than a week and the email confirmation was direct and very easy to track your package. The box came neatly packaged with the brand sealed outside. When I opened the box, my goodies were neatly packed inside a pink plastic little clutch (with bubble wrap lining) to protect the goods. Inside, I also saw stickers, super cute, and a poster. The merch itself has a simple design. Straight to the point and you know exactly how to use it. Now onto the actual products.
Out of the three products I ordered, this one was my favorite. I’m a little biased because I’m a big fan or rose everything but this salve didn’t leave my lips super sticky at all. The smell doesn’t bother me at all, (again, I’m rose gal so I don’t mind)It has a matte feel to it. I use mine on my cuticles as well. My hands get really dry during the winter. This balm comes in 3 other flavors. A few has a tint in them.
Perfecting Skin Tint in Dark
For someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup or doesn’t know how to really put on makeup, the perfecting skin tint is perfect for someone like me. Since I’ve done my research, I knew ordering this product that it’s not meant to cover your flaws but is made to even out your skin tone leaving you with a natural looking skin and dewy finish. I personally love this because I’m not looking to wear a ton of foundation for everyday but I want to even out my facial squinting and have a more “ready” look for work. I also like the watery formula, it’s like putting lotion on your face. It’s very light. Now, you have to put on moisturizer before you put this on, otherwise it’s going to look really cakey.
Vitamin C Serum
Mama over here hasn’t had enough sleep so when, I saw that they had some serums for glowing skin, I immediately clicked add to cart! Now it claims you can have glowing skin overtime. So far, I like how it feels on my skin. I have very sensitive skin so after washing my face and applying this, I was afraid that my skin would react differently but it was fine! I’m gonna have to update you on what it’s doing after a while.
Overall thoughts? I’ve been using the products for a couple of weeks now, and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I’ve been telling people about it, hell, I feel like I should be telling everyone, even some random peeps on the streets (nah, that might be too cray) but I’ll just rave about it here!
