What caught my eye at COS for Fall

When I first bought my very first COS item two years ago and was introduced to the brand, I immediately fell in love with them.

There was something about the simplicity of the pieces, the attention to detail, and the way everything felt both modern and timeless that really drew me in. Since then, COS has become one of those brands I always keep an eye on, especially when I’m looking for pieces that feel a little different without being too trendy.

So, seeing the COS Fall 2026 collection in person at the showroom during NYFW was such a treat. I’ve honestly been thinking about these pieces ever since. There were so many details that caught my eye for fall fashion this year, and seeing everything up close made me appreciate the collection even more.

And the trousers! Especially the pleated, wide-leg trousers. I’m always drawn to a good pair of trousers, and these felt like such a great fall wardrobe staple. The silhouettes were relaxed but still polished, which is exactly the kind of thing I find myself reaching for again and again. They’re the type of pieces that can easily be dressed up or down and worn in so many different ways.

I noticed a lot of purple throughout the collection, mixed with these beautiful dark blue and gray tones. The color palette felt very fall without being the usual sea of brown and black, which I loved. There were also SO many embroidered pieces, and you already know I’m a sucker for anything with an interesting detail or texture. The embroidery added this really beautiful element to some of the more minimal silhouettes and made the pieces feel special without being over the top.

And omg, there was this bib that I completely fell in love with. You already know I took one home with me. 😂 It’s one of those unexpected pieces that instantly made me start thinking about all the different ways I could style it. I love when a fashion piece makes you stop and think, “Okay, how many outfits can I make with this?” I can already picture it layered over a simple button-down, styled with trousers, or even mixed into a more casual look with denim.

One of my favorite things about COS is that the pieces don’t necessarily scream for attention. Instead, it’s the little things like the shape, the fabric, the color, the unexpected details (hello embroidery and lace) that make you want to look twice. That’s what stood out to me about this collection. It felt thoughtful and wearable while still giving me plenty of inspiration to play around with my personal style.

As someone who loves thrifting and mixing vintage and pre-loved pieces into my wardrobe, I also really appreciate clothing that I can see myself wearing for years rather than just one season. These are pieces that I could imagine pairing with things I already own and styling in completely different ways over time.

These are a few of my favorite COS pieces for fall and definitely some styles I’ll be keeping on my radar this season. There were honestly so many pieces I loved that narrowing it down was not easy. I wanted all of it!
