There was a good two months where I was buying slides non stop.

I was always on the hunt for a good pair. I was obsessed. I figured, it’s about to be hot here in Portland, I’m always running around so I needed some comfortable sandals that I can put on before my toddler can yell “mom”. I think slides are the new summer sandal essential if you ask me. Plus, there are so many styles and colors you can choose from to go with your wardrobe this spring and summer.

I’ve been wanting to try them out but I was looking for something that I can wear the whole summer. I wanted something that was versatile and something that will last. I found these amazing pair from Sam Edelman via Nordstrom Rack. When I first saw them, to me they looked like the perfect dupe to the ever famous Hermes Oran Sandals but for a fraction. I’ve been wearing them on repeat and they are so comfortable!

For this outfit of the day, I wanted to look effortless so I wore my favorite blue jeans and a super light striped button up, sun hat and the slides. I wore this at work (besides the hat) for a good eight hours and they held up pretty good! I mean, my feet didn’t hurt. I’m definitely planning on bringing these in Vegas when I go in a couple of weeks.
