Dinner done with Munchery

Since having the second baby, our house has just been a hot mess.

I gotta be honest, sometimes, I just can’t keep up! It’s hard to juggle an eleven year old kid (that’s going through adolescence, mind you) and a brand new baby. Ain’t nobody got time to be grocery shopping and most of all I ain’t gonna be cooking meals  everyday. We got lucky for the first couple of weeks. Our dearest friends would cook and bring us food after baby Ace was born but after that, we were on our own. That’s why I’m super thankful that I discovered MuncheryIt’s a food delivery service that provides you with either ready to eat meals, or you can choose to have fresh ingredients delivered so you can cook the meal yourself! They offer same day delivery (with various times) or you can schedule to have it delivered to a certain date!

What I liked about the website is that the menu changes everyday so I was happy to not get the same thing twice. And for every order that you make, they donate to a local food bank that provides for others. I tried both the ready to eat meal and the cook it yourself dinner boxes. The website is easy to navigate and there are pictures and descriptions of the food. You can choose a side and add dessert as well. There’s also a kids meal. Prices range from meal to meal. For a little over $25, we got ourselves a salad, the perfect burger (which was so yummy), and we also got a kids meal that was teriyaki salmon. We also got the pudding dessert and they added a banana bread as a bonus.

They delivered on time, we didn’t have to wait, and the instructions were easy to follow. This was also the same with the cooked meal. The package arrived on time, and when we opened the box, the ingredients were fresh, and they were individually wrapped. I liked that we didn’t have left overs after we ate because it was just exactly what we needed as far as portions.
