Nine times out of ten, we usually ask our friends and family for their opinions on a lot of things right? Clothing is no different.

Most of the time, even if I’m shopping by myself, I always ask my friends if I should buy a piece of clothing cause I know that they would usually tell me the truth. But what if you can earn a little cash just by trying things on?

I’ve recently discovered the app Flip Fit. It’s where you can try on clothing from different brands from the comfort of your own home, upload it on the app, and you can get feedback from the Flip Fit community or your friends. Just ask them to vote! It’s like Tinder but for shopping. This is the second time I’ve had a box sent over and I actually found some clothing pieces that I loved!

So how does it work?

First of all, I love the fact that I didn’t have to pay for a subscription fee or shipping. That’s already a plus! I downloaded the app, and started voting on some of the looks I saw on my feed. If I found something that I liked, I can request to have those be included in my Flip box. My curator understood my style, and sent me 10-12 items that is similar to what I asked. It’s great since I feel like I know my own style, I got items that I can potentially own. After that, I just downloaded them into the app, and got feedback from the Flip Fit community. Keep the ones you like, and return the rest. You only get charged for the items you keep.

Earn money while voting for looks

This is another one of my favorite perks. You can earn credits while voting for other people’s looks. You can also earn credits by referring your friends to join! I’ve personally have gotten an item before because I’ve built up my credits (we love a free item)!

Some things to consider

You only have a 2 week window then you have to mail the box back. If you fail to do so, they will charge your card on file for an extra fee. Also, it’s through UPS so for me it’s a little bit of a hassle to find the UPS drop off where I live. But other than that, I think that this is a pretty fun app. A new way of shopping and you earn extra credit which is always good!
