I’m gonna be honest…
I’m not the dressy kind of girl. I don’t always get dressed up in the perfect outfit and just snap away.
Heck, sometimes you will catch me taking my daughter to school in a beanie and sweats (that’s probably why at one point they thought I was a middle school-er…yikes!) But sometimes, for special occasions, I do like to take my time. Like my friend Shannon’s wedding ceremony last Tuesday. I had the perfect paisley skirt in mind. I’ve had this skirt for a long time and it was perfect for that day. I knew my love for paisley print is eternal since I saw a photo of my mother back in the 70’s with a paisley top and some cut offs. Who knew that this interesting pattern from Scotland served as a symbol for life and eternity. Fitting for the occasion don’t you think?
