Katy Perry: Witness Tour in Portland
You can now see behind the scenes of Katy Perry’s Witness Tour with Xfinity.
I love going to concerts! Don’t you? Back in my “I’m not a mom yet” phase, I enjoyed going to concerts with all of my friends back in College. From the Black Eyed Peas (when they still had Fergie Ferg), John Legend, and Bruno Mars to name a few, I had my fair share of concerts and I truly enjoyed going and singing along side hundreds of people like me fan girling to my favorite artists.
Now that I have a tween, it’s fun to be able to share that experience with my oldest kid. I took her and her friends last summer to Shawn Mendez. First concert ever and we had a blast! Now, I’m bringing her to her second concert, I big step up from Shawn (sorry dude, we like you) but Katy Perry is huge!! So when we had an opportunity to attend, I had to get on it. And in addition, I can relive some of the songs she sang and go behind the scenes after by watching it on Xfinity! They have partnered up with Perry to feature tons of music videos, never before seen interviews, and even messages from Katy Perry herself! This feature is available to Xfinity X1 customers and it will also give you an in depth look at her new Witness Tour.
I’ve never been to a Katy Perry concert but I’ve definitely seen her live performances on television during award shows and I can’t wait to actually see it at the Moda Center on February 2nd. It’s going to be amazing because of her extravagant stage performance, (I’ve heard a lot of buzz when she sold out her Prism Tour) and duh her music will get me and my girl dancing in our seats! Now what to wear, what to wear? It wouldn’t be my blog if I didn’t talk about what to wear during a concert.
Comfort is key. Remember, there are going to be A LOT of people going so you don’t want to dress like you’re going to a huge party. Remember, most of the time, you want to move around and dance to the songs so when you’re wearing something uncomfortable, you will just be mad that you didn’t dress for the occasion. I personally like to bring the smallest purse possible. Like a fanny–which is making a huge comeback, or a mini backpack. That way it’s easy access and I don’t have to carry much because they do bag checks in those places.
I will give you an update after the concert but in the meanwhile, you can keep checking my Insta Stories and Snapchat for some content. Speaking of snap chat, Xfinity partnered with Katy Perry to create an exclusive Witness: The Tour Snapchat Lens. Fans can snap or click to unlock the code below and witness themselves looking just like Katy Perry!
Where are my local Portland peeps? Are you going? See you all there!!
