This Thing called A MIDI

I can’t believe I have abandoned my blog for six days! But no worries cause I’m comin’ at you with a new outfit post—this thing called a MIDI Skirt. 

Wasn’t really sure how I would style this amazing vintage skirt I found at the thrift but I fell in love with the color combination. Back in the 40’s the midi skirts came to life post war. Flared midi skirt signified youth and fun while the slim midi skirts meant classy and elegance.  With the younger crowd dominating their power in the 60’s and the 70’s the midi skirt had disappeared, leaving us with shorter lenghts. But what do you know, the midi skirt made a comeback in the 2000’s but with a bit more sass and versatility. What do you think of the midi skirt? Would you wear it?
